Residential Relief Counselor

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in daily living by promoting choice, dignity, cultural respect, and personal autonomy
• Ensure safety and well-being by responding to mental health, behavioral, and medical needs
• Implement crisis interventions when necessary
• Facilitate community integration, personal relationships, and access to social supports
• Implement Individual Support Plans and assist with medication administration
• Provide transportation and assist with home maintenance
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to agency, DPH, and DMR regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Experience working with intellectually disabled or brain injured adults
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license
• Ability to drive residence van
• Possession of a personally owned vehicle
• Flexibility to work in Lexington, Woburn, Bedford, and Arlington locations
