About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on care including personal care, meal preparation, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming residential environment to support individual goals
  • Mentor and guide individuals through positive reinforcement and supervision
  • Assist with staff scheduling and maintain consistency in programming and communication
  • Coordinate household management services including individual finances, activities, and healthcare/nutrition

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, or one year of lead staff experience, or a two-year degree in a related field
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and progress tracking
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal and external team members

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Residential Services
  • Experience working with mental health conditions such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, or anxiety
