Residential Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage the administrative and programmatic activities of the department
• Oversee staff schedules 24/7 for dormitory coverage
• Conduct weekly walkthroughs and ensure discrepancies are addressed
• Report safety and dormitory issues immediately to the Safety Manager and Safety Officer
• Maintain data integrity for center statistics and metrics
• Control use of equipment and supplies and recommend purchases
• Provide communication for all serious or significant incidents
• Conduct regular staff meetings and employee training sessions
• Provide monthly and weekly activity reports to the Social Development Director
• Support staff in managing student behavior and resolving situations
• Prepare reports, budgets, and objectives for residential living
• Ensure order, discipline, and clean-living conditions in dormitories
• Oversee social skills and student leadership sessions
• Facilitate assistance to students regarding injury, illness, or emotional trauma
• Conduct case note audits and review residential student folders
• Assess personnel needs and assist with screening, interviewing, and performance appraisals

Requirements

• Two years of experience in counseling, education, social work, rehabilitation, or vocational guidance
• One year of supervisory experience
• Experience working with diverse youth
• Valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
