About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver a dynamic program of cocurricular activities to enhance student wellbeing, belonging, leadership, and academic success.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive living-learning environment by providing pastoral care and guidance to a diverse cohort of residents.
  • Partner with university stakeholders to support student engagement, retention, and the overall residential experience.
  • Contribute to building a strong community at University Hall through proactive engagement and program management.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Experience working with young adults in complex or community-focused environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in event coordination or program management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust with diverse groups.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work an afternoon to evening roster, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including event setup.
