Residential Life & Communications Officer

Responsibilities

• Support residents and student leaders in managing collegiate matters and fostering a positive residential culture
• Monitor student academic progress and implement early intervention and support strategies
• Coordinate social media, newsletters, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities including Open Day and Welcome Weekend
• Assist with the design and delivery of engaging Residential Life Programs and community events
• Support student welfare, pastoral care, and wellbeing initiatives
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and respectful living environment aligned with University values

Requirements

• Experience in student engagement, residential life, events, communications, or community development
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Experience managing social media and promotional content
• Ability to work flexibly, including outside standard office hours when required
• A genuine passion for student wellbeing and community connection
