About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform installations and service changes for broadband, voice, video, and data services
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues from the tap to the customer's equipment
- Design and set up basic home networks using coaxial cable, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi
- Educate customers on products, services, and equipment usage
- Maintain and stock company vehicles and installation tools
- Complete technical documentation and record-keeping for customer accounts
- Operate safely in various environments, including climbing ladders, poles, and working in confined spaces
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry loads of 70 lbs or more
- Ability to climb ladders and poles, and work at heights
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and variable schedules, including weekends and holidays
