Residential Installation & Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform installations and service changes for broadband, voice, video, and data services
• Troubleshoot connections from the tap to customer equipment, including Wi-Fi networks and coaxial cables
• Conduct field assessments and design basic home networks based on customer needs
• Educate customers on products, services, and equipment usage
• Maintain and stock company vehicles and equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working order
• Complete accurate record-keeping and digital work order management
• Perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, poles, and working in confined spaces like attics or crawl spaces
• Drive company vehicles safely to various residential locations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift and carry loads of 70 lbs or more
• Ability to climb ladders, poles, and work at heights using safety equipment
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments, including heat, cold, and rain
