Residential Installation & Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform installations and service changes for voice, video, and data services in residential settings.
• Troubleshoot broadband connections from the tap to the customer's equipment.
• Design and set up basic home networks using coaxial cable, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi.
• Educate customers on products, services, and equipment usage.
• Maintain and stock company vehicles and equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working order.
• Complete digital work orders and record-keeping accurately and in a timely manner.
• Operate safely while climbing poles, using ladders, and working in various weather conditions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift and carry loads of 70 lbs or more.
• Ability to climb poles and ladders and work in confined spaces like attics or crawl spaces.
• Technical knowledge of coaxial and Ethernet cabling.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
