Residential Installation & Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform residential installations, service changes, and disconnects for voice, video, and data services.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues from the network connection to customer equipment.
• Install and support home networks using coaxial cable, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi technology.
• Educate customers on products, equipment use, and service expectations.
• Maintain and stock assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Document completed work and update customer accounts using digital tools.
• Operate ladders, hand tools, and meters safely while following electrical and safety codes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing 70 pounds or more.
• Ability to work at heights up to 26 feet on ladders, roofs, or bucket trucks.
• Flexibility to work various schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in diverse environments, including outdoor conditions, crawl spaces, and attics.
