Residential Installation & Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform installations and service changes for broadband, voice, video, and data services
• Troubleshoot connections from the tap to customer equipment using coaxial, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi technology
• Design basic home networks and provide customer education on products and services
• Maintain accurate digital records of work performed and customer account details
• Operate and maintain installation tools, ladders, and company vehicles safely
• Perform physical tasks including climbing poles, working on roofs, and working in confined spaces like attics or crawl spaces

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift and carry loads of 70 lbs or more
• Ability to climb ladders, poles, and work at heights using safety equipment
• Technical knowledge of coaxial and Ethernet cabling
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and variable schedules, including nights and weekends
