Residential Installation & Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform installations and service changes for broadband, voice, video, and data services
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues from the tap to the customer's equipment
• Design and set up basic home networks using coaxial, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi technology
• Educate customers on products, services, and equipment usage
• Maintain and stock company vehicles and tools, including ladders and meters
• Complete technical documentation and record-keeping for customer accounts
• Operate in various environments, including climbing poles, roofs, and working in confined spaces

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift and carry loads of 70 lbs or more
• Ability to climb ladders, poles, and work in high places
• Technical troubleshooting skills and ability to use digital diagnostic tools
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and flexible schedules, including weekends
