Residential Group Home Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the daily operations of a residential program in New Jersey
• Provide daily supervision, orientation, and ongoing training for all staff members
• Monitor and ensure all services, health care, and nutritional needs are delivered to individuals
• Manage the cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of the home and vehicles
• Oversee budgeting, spending accounts, and required financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with emergency procedures and maintain communication regarding service changes or hospitalizations
• Foster positive relationships with team members, vendors, neighbors, and emergency personnel

Requirements

• Two-year degree in a related social services field and/or two years of experience in the IDD (Intellectual/Developmental Disability) field
• Experience working with developmental disabilities
• Valid Driver's License for transporting persons served
• Proficiency with computer skills for documentation and reporting
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal and external team members

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Ability to serve as a positive role model within a team environment
