Residential Counselor

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of participants, providing ongoing support, guidance, and role modeling
• Facilitate participant improvement in personal responsibility, social skills, and behavior
• Monitor and administer medications according to program protocols
• Assist participants in developing community living and vocational skills
• Provide local client transport as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or two years of related experience or training
• Ability to supervise daily activities and manage participant behavior
• Capacity for local travel for client transport
• Ability to work 2nd shift schedules (4 days, 10-hour shifts)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or better in Human Services or a related field
• Experience working with adults living with mental illness
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
