Residential Counselor II

Responsibilities

• Daily coordination of youth in completing scheduled activities including school, appointments, and play
• Actively monitor and participate in community service, recreation, visits, and family time
• Lead shifts as assigned
• Safely transport youth to activities, appointments, school, work, and visits
• Serve as an Advocate for assigned youth and complete Advocate Reports and required documentation

Requirements

• High School diploma
• At least one year of related experience with the target population
• Ability to adhere to Trauma-Informed Care and Interventions models
• Sound judgment and solution-focused problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural groups
