Residential Coordinator of Residential Education

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and conduct performance evaluations for a team of Resident Advisors
• Implement engaging residential programming focused on student wellbeing and community engagement
• Serve as a primary hearing officer for student conduct cases and manage incident responses
• Participate in the primary on-call rotation to manage crises and safeguard student welfare
• Facilitate administrative tasks including health and safety inspections, wellness checks, and budget management
• Coordinate recruitment, selection, and training for residential student staff
• Collaborate with campus partners such as Health Services, Title IX, and Campus Safety to support student success

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 1-3 years of experience in student affairs, residential life, or a related field (including undergraduate leadership roles)
• Proven experience supervising and mentoring student staff
• Demonstrated crisis management skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Valid state driver's license

• Interest in community building and proactive student well-being initiatives
• Proficiency with technology, including database management and communication platforms
• Experience managing complex spreadsheets and departmental budgets
• Comfort working in a live-in, residential setting with a dynamic student population
