Residential Coordinator of Community Standards

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and conduct performance evaluations for a team of Resident Advisors
• Serve as a primary hearing officer for Level 1 and 2 student conduct cases, ensuring adherence to campus policies
• Manage administrative tasks including student engagement, health and safety inspections, and wellness checks
• Participate in the primary on-call rotation to manage crises and safeguard student welfare
• Coordinate residential programming, campus-wide events, and orientation activities
• Manage budgets and assist with residential life operations such as housing selection and room inspections
• Collaborate with campus partners including Health Services, Title IX, and the Office of Spiritual Life

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-3 years of experience in student affairs, residential life, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience supervising and mentoring student staff
• Strong administrative skills, including budget management and event planning
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Valid state driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in community building and student well-being
• Proficiency with databases (such as Maxient) and spreadsheet management
• Comfort working in a live-in residential setting
