About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of operation for community residential programs, ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.
- Provide direct supervision, guidance, and performance evaluations for direct support employees.
- Collaborate with the Residence Manager to plan individualized programs of service and care for residents.
- Manage residence operations, including house and vehicle maintenance, fire safety, and personnel files.
- Monitor medical services, including medication administration, medical records maintenance, and appointment scheduling.
- Ensure residents' basic needs are met, including food, clothing, and personal hygiene items.
- Serve as a liaison with Treatment Coordinators to review the quality of active treatment services.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Direct Support Professional experience at an OPWDD certified residence.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of OPWDD regulations.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid New York or Tri-State driver's license in good standing for more than one year.
- Willingness to work one weekend day each week.

- Experience supervising staff in a residential setting.
