Residential Adjunct Faculty for Aeronautics

Responsibilities

• Provide part-time instruction for Aeronautics courses including Human Factors, Aviation Safety, Aerodynamics, Aviation Management, and Airline Operations
• Maintain the integrity of course and instructional programs
• Ensure instructional delivery aligns with the University mission and vision
• Create an academic atmosphere of mutual respect and consideration for individual dignity
• Model a personal commitment to a biblically informed Christian worldview

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Aeronautics or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation-related disciplines
• Commitment to the Christian worldview and the mission of Liberty University
• Ability to teach onsite in Lynchburg, VA

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. in Aeronautics/Aviation or Av. D.) or ABD status
• 5 or more years of experience in Commercial Airlines, Business Aviation, or Airport Management
• Existing strong relationships with key stakeholders in the aviation industry
