Residential Adjunct, English

Responsibilities

• Teach residential English and writing courses within the Department of English
• Model a personal commitment to the goals and values of Liberty University and a Christian worldview
• Manage classrooms and allocate teaching resources effectively
• Record student attendance and grades using Canvas LMS
• Communicate effectively in both written and oral formats to correspond with students and faculty
• Adhere to all University policies and represent the institution in an exemplary manner

Requirements

• MA in English or a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline
• Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-textbooks
• Advanced computer skills and strong organizational abilities
• Ability to convey messages in an articulate and professional manner

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in English
• MFA in Creative Writing
• Credentials to teach TESOL
