About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, families, guests, vendors, and staff
- Provide personalized solutions to customer needs and concerns
- Manage phone calls, taking detailed messages and routing inquiries appropriately
- Coordinate resident services including dry cleaning, grocery delivery, and transportation
- Connect with new residents and families to introduce community concierge services
- Coordinate the community transportation schedule and monitor sign-up sheets
- Act as a liaison between the culinary department and guest meal reservations
- Maintain community security by monitoring resident and guest sign-in/out logs
- Manage incoming mail and packages
Requirements
- Experience as a Concierge or in a customer service role preferred
- 1-2 years of experience working with seniors preferred
- Ability to use independent judgment and discretion
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with standard office equipment and technology (computers, tablets, Word, email)
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
