About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents to address inquiries and resolve complaints
- Coordinate social programs, community events, and resident orientation sessions
- Connect residents to essential services such as financial assistance, healthcare, and housing support
- Develop strategies to identify and support at-risk residents
- Collaborate with local businesses for sponsorships and community partnerships
- Support leasing staff with property tours, lease explanations, and documentation
- Oversee move-in and move-out procedures to ensure smooth transitions
- Maintain compliance with company policies and Fair Housing laws
Requirements
- 1+ years of service coordination, event planning, or equivalent experience
- Experience in social services, case management, or human resources
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel), internet, and email
- Ability to manage time and set priorities effectively
- Reliable transportation
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) is highly desired
- Experience with Low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) is highly desired
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in nonprofit or community-based settings
