About the role
Responsibilities
- Guide and support residents in their transition back into community life by managing day-to-day facility operations
- Monitor and control entrance to the secure facility and supervise resident movement and rule compliance
- Perform intake, orientation, and discharge procedures, including conducting counts and facility safety checks
- Conduct inspections, searches, and contraband control to ensure facility security
- Document disciplinary actions, incident reports, and resident data accurately in community corrections software
- Monitor and dispense resident medications following prescribed protocols
- Respond to emergency situations and maintain a continuous state of alertness to ensure safety
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass and maintain FBOP security clearances
- Must obtain CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler certifications within two weeks of hire
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and internet navigation
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in criminal justice, social services, or a related field
- 6 months of experience in human services, criminal justice, or correctional systems
