About the role

Responsibilities

  • Guide and support residents in their transition back into community life by managing day-to-day facility operations
  • Monitor and control entrance to the secure facility and supervise resident movement and rule compliance
  • Perform intake, orientation, and discharge procedures, including conducting counts and facility safety checks
  • Conduct inspections, searches, and contraband control to ensure facility security
  • Document disciplinary actions, incident reports, and resident data accurately in community corrections software
  • Monitor and dispense resident medications following prescribed protocols
  • Respond to emergency situations and maintain a continuous state of alertness to ensure safety

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass and maintain FBOP security clearances
  • Must obtain CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler certifications within two weeks of hire
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and internet navigation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in criminal justice, social services, or a related field
  • 6 months of experience in human services, criminal justice, or correctional systems
