About the role
Responsibilities
- Facilitate socials, games, crafts, cooking, movies, outings, and other activities
- Collaborate with the Resident Experience team to implement new program ideas
- Assist in creating and adjusting personalized Resident Experience plans
- Ensure residents receive monthly activity calendars
- Invite and encourage resident participation in activities
- Assist in transporting residents to and from activities
- Use Lifeloop to document attendance and 1:1 interactions
- Report resident cognitive or emotional concerns to the Director
- Drive company vehicles for community needs as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in Memory Care
- 1-2 years of experience working with seniors preferred
- Experience in organizing activities or event planning preferred
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to use computers, tablets, and Resident Experience software
- Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
