Resident Engineer (Water)

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise consultant teams for water distribution construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
• Ensure safe, on-time, on-budget, and high-quality project delivery
• Verify contract compliance, interpret project drawings/specifications, and provide technical recommendations to clients
• Review and route project deliverables including submittals, RFIs, work plans, and schedules
• Coordinate contractor work activities and chair internal and external project meetings
• Perform Quality Assurance inspections and manage contractor invoice reviews
• Assist in project closeout activities, including processing warranties, O&Ms, punch lists, and final documentation
• Proactively identify and resolve construction issues to prevent delays or rework

Requirements

• BA/BS degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency
• Valid Driver License

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• Direct experience in Water Distribution Construction
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
