Resident Engineer, Structural Building Engineering

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor site work quality, progress, and safety compliance.
• Check site safety measures in accordance with supervision plans.
• Supervise Technical Control Personnel (TCPs) regarding superstructure, site formation, foundation, and ELS works.
• Coordinate and compile supervision reports, including non-conformity reports.
• Ensure works comply with approved plans, temporary works, method statements, and protective measures.
• Review Contractor submissions and monitor the work of Registered Contractor's TCPs.
• Attend site and project meetings and coordinate with the design office on site matters.
• Conduct factory inspections in Mainland China as required by the Code of Practice for Site Supervision Plan 2009.

Requirements

• University degree holder.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in structural or building engineering.
• Proven ability to work independently and adapt to changing site conditions.
• Strong construction site coordination skills.
• Awareness of contractual issues within a construction environment.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese.
