Resident Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control inspections and surveillance to ensure compliance with customer and company requirements
• Implement, execute, and record inspection, examination, and testing procedures
• Document and communicate inspection results clearly and concisely
• Perform and document inspections of subcontractor work, including First-Article and In-Process inspections
• Interact cross-functionally with project team members and management
• Ensure compliance with all applicable HSE requirements for the assigned work scope
• Understand and adhere to contract requirements for both the primary project and subcontractors

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Math, Quality, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of related construction experience
• 8+ years of equivalent work experience
• Ability to pass a government background check
• Willingness to travel as required
• Proficiency in MS Office (Windows, Word, Excel)
• Experience with digital photography and uploading files/photos to digital devices or websites

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, codes, standards, and specifications
• Experience with tower, concrete, or civil construction
• Previous experience working in an airport environment
• Proficiency in utilizing scheduling software
• Self-starter with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
