Resident Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control inspection activities to ensure products and services meet customer and company requirements for FAA modernization efforts.
• Implement inspection, examination, and testing procedures and record all relevant data.
• Document and communicate inspection results clearly and concisely.
• Perform and document inspections of subcontractor work, including First-Article and In-Process inspections.
• Interact cross-functionally with project team members and management.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable HSE requirements for the assigned work scope.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Math, Quality, or a related field (or equivalent experience via High School/Trade School diploma).
• 4+ years of related construction experience.
• 8+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Ability to pass a government background check.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Windows, Word, Excel).
• Experience with digital photography and uploading files to computer/internet sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, codes, standards, and specifications.
• Experience with tower, concrete, and civil construction.
• Previous experience working in an airport environment.
• Proficiency in utilizing scheduling software.
