About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide resident on-site technical support focusing on Instrumentation and Control, control systems, and unit operation
  • Act as the primary technical interface with the client’s Operations and Maintenance team
  • Support rapid troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for operational and control system issues
  • Support planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities under the LTSA
  • Develop capability in diagnostics of sensors, actuators, field instrumentation, and control loops
  • Analyse unit performance, trips, and operational trends to identify reliability improvements
  • Contribute to control system optimisation, alarm management, and tuning
  • Support spare parts stock management and identify critical spares
  • Help prepare planned outages including scope definition and resource planning
  • Prepare technical updates, issue logs, and progress reports

Requirements

  • Graduate-level education in Engineering (Instrumentation and Control, Automation, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Mechanical)
  • Basic understanding of DCS systems, field instrumentation, sensors, actuators, and control loops
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Hands-on mindset and willingness to work in a site-based environment
  • Fluency in business English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • General understanding of gas turbines, generators, or power generation technology
  • Exposure to commissioning, start-up, operations, or field service
  • Knowledge of MS Project
