Resident Engineer (Infrastructure & Roads)

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction supervision of major roads and infrastructure projects
• Oversee engineering work scope, schedules, change management, and project closeout
• Coordinate with authorities and agencies for project approvals and service handovers
• Interface with contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with contracts and deliverables
• Review work to ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and quality procedures
• Review and approve change orders while notifying project management of all modifications
• Manage client expectations and provide periodic progress updates
• Ensure all company rights and obligations are fulfilled throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
• Minimum 15 years of post-graduate experience in supervision and construction management of major infrastructure
• Extensive experience with roads, bridges, and utility projects
• Strong technical knowledge of industry standards and codes
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and computer skills
• Solid understanding of construction health, safety, and environment (HSE) protocols
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within the GCC region
• Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills
• Proven ability to mentor staff and coordinate effectively with clients and stakeholders
