Resident Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical advisory to the customer to ensure compliance with Contract Service Agreement (CSA) obligations.
• Align with CPM all resources and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on-site.
• Provide technical advisory and supervision to customers during routine maintenance activities.
• Actively support the customer during preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Support troubleshooting efforts in the event of trips or unplanned events.
• Manage spare parts inventory to ensure compliance with contract guarantees.
• Provide technical direction and guidance to craft labor during power equipment outages.

Requirements

• Knowledge level equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
• Background in Instrumentation and Controls and/or Electric and Excitation.
• 3+ years of experience in the maintenance or operation of gas turbines.
• 3+ years of experience coordinating maintenance tasks in power plants.
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
• Legal authorization to work in Mexico.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of MarkVIe control systems.
• Knowledge of EX2100 excitation systems.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and night shifts, as required.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems.
