About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate efforts among cross-functional teams to complete engineering projects
- Provide product engineering support to plant operations, including production and manufacturing
- Support in-plant quality and engineering needs
- Troubleshoot technical problems and implement solutions
- Lead quality and cost improvement projects
- Analyze and present data to support decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not provided)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing facility
- Experience with high-volume rotating equipment
- Proficiency with Minitab or other statistical software
- Knowledge of DMAIC problem-solving methodology
- Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma principles
