About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for transportation construction projects within IDOT’s District 8
- Manage multidisciplinary consultant teams delivering roadway and bridge construction projects
- Supervise field activities and ensure successful project delivery through disciplined management of budget, schedule, safety, and quality
- Mentor and develop staff while maintaining strong client relationships with IDOT and contractors
- Contribute to management decision-making, business development, and strategic growth initiatives for the CM/CEI practice
Requirements
- BA/BS degree with 6+ years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency)
- Valid Driver License
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS in Civil Engineering or a construction-related field with 8+ years of experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- 7+ years of DOT construction experience
- Experience with Highway and Interstate construction
- Knowledge of IDOT documentation of contract quantities
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
