Resident Assistant

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a residential community environment that promotes the educational experience of residential living
• Work with residence hall staff under the supervision of a Resident Director to support students
• Articulate the philosophy and policies of Residence Life and the University to residents
• Represent the needs of students to the university administration

Requirements

• Must be a professing Christian and sign the Regent University Statement of Faith
• Previous experience living in a residence hall community is required
• Must be a single sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student at the time of appointment
• Must be enrolled in full-time credit hours and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Must have no disciplinary sanctions equal to or greater than Disciplinary Probation
• Commitment to Regent’s core values of Excellence, Innovation, and Integrity
