Residence Life Front Desk Staff

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors within the Office of Residence Life and Community Standards
• Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to general inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
• Assist students with scheduling meetings and providing information regarding housing and community standards
• Support residence hall operations by managing flyers and maintaining organized public spaces
• Submit maintenance work orders to address facility concerns in a timely manner
• Assist with general office management, record keeping, and cross-departmental projects within the Division of Student Affairs

Requirements

• Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate student at Franklin Pierce University
• This is a work-study only position
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse community
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with basic office technology, including phone systems, email, and scheduling tools
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, office administration, or student leadership roles
• A positive attitude and a sense of humor
