About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision, guidance, and training to student staff, including Resident Advisors.
  • Implement residential curriculum initiatives and support Living Learning or Themed Communities.
  • Participate in the departmental on-call crisis response and management rotation.
  • Mediate and resolve student conflicts, including roommate disputes.
  • Adjudicate low-level residential policy violations and student conduct issues.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as health and safety inspections and eRezLife software oversight.
  • Oversee a departmental budget of approximately $10,000.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Ability to reside on campus (a university-owned apartment is provided).
  • Availability for a 24/7 on-call rotation to respond to assistance requests and campus emergencies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Student Development, Higher Education, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with housing department operations and residence hall management.
