Reservoir Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global engineering teams to analyze field performance and advise on recovery improvements
• Integrate with adjacent disciplines, including wells and geoscience teams, to implement development plans
• Monitor reservoir data to provide actionable insights and recommendations based on detailed analysis
• Perform reservoir simulations, including model initialization, history matching, and forecasting
• Generate flow streams using material balance, analogs, and simulation techniques
• Analyze field data to establish trends, recognize deviations, and identify data quality issues
• Build and sustain proprietary reservoir engineering technology

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, or a relevant engineering discipline
• Minimum 2 years of reservoir engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of reservoir engineering concepts, including depletion planning and resource migration
• Proficiency in reservoir simulation and history matching
• Experience with analytical performance prediction, such as decline curve analysis and material balance
• Proficiency in pressure transient analysis
• Strong analytical skills and experience in reservoir surveillance and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with engineering applications such as IPM, Kappa Ecrin (Saphir), Eclipse, Petrel RE, Intersect, or CMG
• Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, C, or Python
• Experience in computational or data science, including machine learning and optimization
• Knowledge of carbon storage technologies
• Experience in mentorship or team leadership
