About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the smooth running of the reservations department to ensure high-level guest journeys.
- Proactively improve guest satisfaction by providing timely responses to enquiries and resolving problems.
- Supervise the reservations team, fostering a culture of growth, development, and high performance.
- Achieve hotel targets and reservations initiatives through effective planning and execution.
- Control costs and inventory while ensuring productivity and performance levels are met.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
- Review business performance and provide recommendations to drive financial results.
- Ensure compliance with all legislation and best practice activities for internal and external audits.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in hotel reservations.
- Strong supervisory and managerial skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
- Deep commitment to delivering exceptional guest service within the hospitality industry.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to find creative solutions.
- High level of personal integrity and the ability to work in a fast-paced, excellence-driven environment.
