About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the Reservations Department and oversee day-to-day reservations operations
- Drive leisure sales across FIT, Group Leisure, Series, and Wholesale segments
- Develop and implement annual leisure sales strategy with commercial leadership
- Build relationships with tour operators, wholesalers, DMCs, coach operators, and travel agents
- Negotiate contracted rates, allocations, and commercial agreements
- Manage team performance, training, scheduling, and departmental KPIs
- Prepare commercial reports, forecasts, and lost business analysis
- Ensure reservation accuracy, GDPR compliance, and brand standards
Requirements
- Experience leading reservations or hotel commercial teams
- Strong leisure sales and account management background
- Knowledge of hotel revenue, pricing, and yield management
- Experience with Opera or similar hotel systems
- Coaching, delegation, and team development skills
- Strong reporting, presentation, and negotiation ability
- UK right to work
