About the role

Responsibilities

  • Convert bedroom, boardroom, and conference room inquiries into confirmed reservations
  • Respond promptly to guest communications, travel agents, and leads via mail and telephone
  • Prepare check-in documentation and handle cancellations, modifications, and guest requests
  • Execute administrative and accounting related tasks to required standards
  • Maintain and adhere to internal control measures and compliance requirements
  • Build and nurture professional relationships with guests, travel agents, and corporate clients
  • Implement processes to guarantee revenues are safeguarded and collected correctly

Requirements

  • Grade 12 qualification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a front office environment
  • Knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS)
  • Familiarity with phone systems and customer service principles
  • Ability to work long hours and shifts as required by the hospitality industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • National Diploma in Hospitality Management or C & G Diploma
