Researcher, Online Threat Intelligence

Responsibilities

• Conduct research across multiple venues to identify threats and threatening discourse surrounding clients
• Identify existing and emerging trends in negative chatter and digital risks
• Gather information on individuals and groups posing threats through OSINT, social media, and deep/dark web research
• Contribute to bespoke threat assessments by researching specific topics as tasked
• Develop new capabilities and research new information sources to support the team's mission
• Deliver clear, concise, and actionable written analysis and intelligence reports
• Participate in peer reviews of intelligence outputs to ensure high-quality deliverables

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of open-source intelligence (OSINT) collection and threat analysis
• Experience directing, collecting, and analyzing information to produce timely intelligence
• Ability to prepare concise written reports with strong attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrable experience
• Proven ability to follow leads and make sound judgments based on research

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of the deep and dark web threat landscape
• Proficiency in additional languages, particularly Spanish and Portuguese
