Researcher

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems such as running 100K+ variable portfolio optimizations in seconds
• Develop machine learning models to estimate relative value and future outperformance in fixed income securities
• Build risk models to estimate tracking error between portfolios
• Develop AI agents to automate credit research, custom portfolio construction, and core portfolio management tasks
• Act as your own product manager by working closely with customers to drive product direction

Requirements

• Experience as a quant researcher or quant trader
• Bachelor's degree or PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science
• Ability to write production-grade code in Python
• Strong problem-solving ability and the capacity to "figure stuff out"
• Customer-facing mindset and eagerness to work with clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Fixed income quantitative research experience
• Experience with numerical optimization or factor/risk models
• Proficiency with Polars
• Experience building machine learning pipelines
• Experience with multi-modal LLMs
