Research Technologist

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing research regarding the genomic basis of adaptation and phenotypic variation
• Assist with daily laboratory operations and the analysis of genomic data
• Support the generation of new and ongoing experimental studies
• Assist lab members with relevant research protocols and analyses

Requirements

• Two years of experience as a laboratory technician, research aide, or equivalent
• OR a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field of science or technology
• Demonstrated experience working in a research laboratory setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong coding skills
• Solid background in evolutionary biology, population genetics, and biostatistics
• Familiarity with Drosophila biology and relevant research methods
