Research Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for lab projects under Project Officer supervision
• Perform hair follicle and skin organ culture
• Execute tissue fixation, embedding, and cryo/paraffin sectioning
• Conduct immunohistochemical stains and molecular biology techniques
• Utilize immunofluorescence and light microscopy
• Perform image analysis using BZ-Analyzer, BZ viewer, and ImageJ
• Manage lab organization, equipment planning, and consumable stock
• Participate in scientific lab meetings and workshops

Requirements

• Completed training as a Medical/Biological-technical assistant or an honours bachelor degree in a relevant subject
• Proficiency in immunohistochemistry and routine histology
• Experience in biological research laboratories and laboratory techniques
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
• Fluency in English
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Documented experience in skin and/or hair research
