Research Technician

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute study protocols within experimental farm facilities and designated field trial locations.
• Ensure the quality of all methods, collected data, and experimental feeds used in each trial.
• Perform production and laboratory activities under researcher supervision for both internal and external R&D studies.
• Collaborate with regulatory specialists to support applications for non-EU registered additive exemptions.
• Develop and implement new techniques and methodologies in both farm and laboratory environments.
• Identify opportunities to improve the quality, efficiency, and consistency of animal studies.
• Maintain clear and proactive communication between the farm, feed mill, laboratory, and research teams.

Requirements

• Technical or university degree in Veterinary Medicine.
• Proven experience in the execution of study protocols.
• Experience in laboratory work, sample handling, and data collection.
• Knowledge of or interest in quality systems such as ISO 9001 and good experimental practices.
• Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
