About the role
Responsibilities
- Support an intensive, longitudinal NIMH-funded study examining adolescent social behavior and mental health
- Execute data collection including participant enrollment and running multiple data streams (behavioral, neuroimaging, digital phenotyping, and wearables)
- Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and analyses
- Assist with outreach and recruitment events
- Collaborate with undergraduate research assistants and other research staff to manage study operations
- Contribute to the dissemination of results via conference posters, talks, and manuscripts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field (e.g., Neuroscience, Education, Sociology, Biology)
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse participants, including children, adolescents, and families
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and efficiently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a data collection or clinical capacity
- Proficiency with statistical or programming software (e.g., SPSS, R, Matlab, Java, Python)
- Prior experience conducting empirical research in psychological science
