Research Technician

Responsibilities

• Support an intensive, longitudinal NIMH-funded study examining adolescent social behavior and mental health
• Execute data collection including participant enrollment and running multiple data streams (behavioral, neuroimaging, digital phenotyping, and wearables)
• Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and analyses
• Assist with outreach and recruitment events
• Collaborate with undergraduate research assistants and other research staff to manage study operations
• Contribute to the dissemination of results via conference posters, talks, and manuscripts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field (e.g., Neuroscience, Education, Sociology, Biology)
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse participants, including children, adolescents, and families
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a data collection or clinical capacity
• Proficiency with statistical or programming software (e.g., SPSS, R, Matlab, Java, Python)
• Prior experience conducting empirical research in psychological science
