Research Technician

Responsibilities

• Support laboratory operations by preparing and maintaining equipment, instruments, solutions, stains, and assays
• Perform specialized laboratory techniques including flow cytometry, cell culture, DNA/RNA extraction, and Western Blot
• Conduct animal studies involving injections, tissue/fluids collection, and autopsies to facilitate chemical identification
• Manage research data through meticulous record-keeping, analysis, and report preparation
• Collaborate with postdocs and fellow researchers to support ongoing projects in a team-oriented environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field
• Proven basic laboratory skills and experience in a research setting
• Proficiency in cell culture and molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA extraction, Western Blot)
• Experience with flow cytometry and animal handling
• Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping habits
• Ability to follow complex protocols and troubleshoot effectively
