Research Technician

Responsibilities

• Support laboratory maintenance by preparing and maintaining equipment, instruments, solutions, stains, and assays
• Perform standard wet lab techniques including cell culture, flow cytometry, and western blot
• Conduct animal studies involving mouse imaging, colony maintenance, dissection, and tissue/fluid collection
• Record and analyze research data, prepare reports, and provide insights to the research team
• Collaborate with graduate students, postdocs, and fellow researchers in a team-oriented environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biology or a related field
• Basic laboratory skills with practical experience in cell culture or western blot
• Demonstrated ability to follow protocols with high attention to detail
• Comfort working with mice is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with mouse models
• Ability to troubleshoot protocols in a dynamic laboratory environment
