Research Technician

About the Company

Alljoined is creating a future where humans are fully understood and augmented by technology. Our work solves the communication bottleneck between humans and computers by decoding thoughts from the brain, entirely non-invasively using deep learning research on large scale EEG datasets.

Responsibilities

• Own the neural data collection infrastructure and run day-to-day EEG experiments
• Act as the primary point of contact for study participants
• Ensure datasets meet quality standards for deep learning research
• Work hands-on with EEG hardware and experimental workflows
• Log, track, and report technical events, hardware faults, and environmental interference
• Troubleshoot workflow bottlenecks and implement corrective actions

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of hands-on experience operating EEG hardware in a research or clinical setting
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Neuroscience, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related field
• Meticulous attention to data quality and throughput targets
• Strong interpersonal skills for participant engagement
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams of engineers and researchers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced startup or high-throughput research lab
• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
• Experience administering neuropsychological assessments or cognitive testing
• Experience with participant recruitment and scheduling pipelines
• Exposure to EEG signal quality optimization, electrode placement, and impedance management
