About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day data collection operations, including recruiting, screening, and enrolling study participants.
- Conduct in-person lab visits, welcome calls, and oversee participant blood draw appointments.
- Supervise and train a team of student research assistants on study protocols, biomonitor use, and ethical guidelines.
- Assist with data quality checks and maintain study management software to ensure accurate participant data.
- Provide scientific support through literature reviews, measure scans, and the preparation of figures and tables.
- Co-author manuscripts and guidance documents related to the social environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years of related experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of active data collection experience.
- Experience in managing participant interactions and scheduling.
- Documented experience conducting literature reviews from search to preparation.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Zoom.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work variable hours, including nights and weekends (at least 50% of effort may fall outside standard working hours).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as epidemiology, psychology, or sociology.
- Experience with manuscript and report preparation within a team setting.
- Familiarity with research methodologies and survey administration.
- Experience with WordPress for website management.
