About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate flexible representational models and refine representational alignment measures.
- Lead cross-animal model recovery analyses using neural recordings as ground-truth data.
- Conduct model-recovery simulations to assess similarity measures against simulated neural data.
- Perform systematic comparisons of representational alignment measures across varying geometry estimators and fitting flexibility.
- Benchmark recovery performance across cortical areas and hierarchy levels.
- Investigate the correspondence between recovery performance on simulated versus empirical neural data.
- Support the development and validation of analysis pipelines and contribute to an open-source toolbox.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant scientific or engineering field.
- Strong analytical and computational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of related experience in a research environment.
